I was playing catch-up on Garance Doré's blog today. Her work and coverage of fashion week gets better and better every season. Don't you think? I heart her so much.

Grandfather of Yours

New York Magazine's "The Cut" today, published a recent interview they had with André Leon Talley. I learned that if I need to take a breather from Fall's ladylike corset trend - literally - that I can opt for a grandpa sweater instead and still look youthful. But won't a grandpa sweater always make you look outdated? At least we have ALT to demystify on our behalf.

I love the sweater story in Vogue. The sweater is the new jacket; there are so many ways to wear it, whether belted or with a ballgown. It's no longer about the twin set: It can be a pinup-girl sexy or a cozy grandfather's cardigan."
